North Country Quilts has changed it's image.

We have a new look.

We are going to be known for our FLANNEL TO FUNKY LOOK.

Don't get worried we still have alot of Northwoods fabric, batiks and kids but we need to go with the times so we have brought in Amy Butler, Anna Marie Horner, etc.

Dan and I went to the tri state show in Mpls. a couple of weeks ago and did some fun damage on the pocket book.  He is worse than I am when it comes to buying fabrics.

I hope soon to get my fabrics and kits on line so you can see what I am talking about but I have yet to figure out how to find the time.  If only we didn't have to sleep.  Do you know how much time we spend sleeping?

 We have a new year coming and a new schedule for the block of the month and the guild.

I am very excited about the block of the month for next year.  We have decided to do the Underground Railroad blocks and make this quilt very personal to us.  As quilters we always want to give everything away.  Well not this year.  This year I hope that everyone embraces every block with not just the history of yesteryears but what that block means to them today.  We are going to start journals of the blocks and read the history of them.  Exciting!!!!!!!!!  If you are interested in joining please let me know or come to the December meeting which is December 6th.  After the meeting we are having a UFO sew day and most of us are working on the duffle bags we did at camp.  They are wonderful and would make a wonderful Christmas gift.

Our Holiday schedule will be closed Wednesday and Thursday Thanksgiving weekend.

Closed the 24th and 25th of December.

I am not sure how we are going to handle our annual New Years Day sale.  Still working that out in my head.  Our new shop is too small to have a sale inside and Donna refuses to have the cash register outside that day.  I will let you know.
